Here is the AUDITION INFORMATION

DAY: Wednesday, Feb. 25th & Thursday, Feb. 26th (only attend one day)

TIME: 6:00pm start time (for all kids in grades K-12)

LOCATION: 14197 Torrey Rd. Fenton Village Players Theatre building (entrance and parking in back of building)

KID AUDITION PREP: Prepare 30-60 secs of a song to sing acapella.  Since you probably are not familiar with songs from this show- you can pick any song that you feel highlights your voice, your vocal range and that you know the words to.  Cold readings will be done during audition for kids that are of reading age.  You do not need to pre-register or sign up ahead of time for this- just show up on one of days listed above. 

PARENT AUDITION PREP: Plan on coming in and staying while your kid auditions.  As soon as you arrive you will fill out an audition form and mark down any conflicts during the run of our show (beginning of March through middle of May) so have a calendar of potential conflicts available.  While your kid auditions, we are doing something different this time around and will be having a PARENT MEETING in the auditorium (starting shortly after 6:00). *Killing two birds with one stone as well as giving you more insight into what you would be signing up for prior to making the commitment. 

CASTING / COST INFO: After auditions are over an email will be sent out to every kid with their casting offer (every kid who auditions will be offered a spot in our show).  You will then accept or reject your offer but all casting decisions are final and not up for negotiation.  Payments would be made once rehearsals start in order to receive your script.  Payments are as follows: Each family pays one yearly membership fee of $25.  Each kid pays a production fee of $75 for the 1st kid and $65 for each kid after that, if you have more than one kid in the show. 

REHERSAL INFO: Rehearsals will start on Monday, March 2nd.  For the first month they will run from 6:00-7:30.  After that they will expand to 5:45-8:15.  The week before we perform (the week of May 4th), plan on rehearsals running a little longer.  Your kid will rehearse two days a week, either on a M/W or on a T/Th schedule.

PERFORMANCE INFO: Performances will the weekends of May 8th and May 15th.
